PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS
Private lessons at The Broadway Music & Recording Academy are designed to develop complete musicians. Through one-on-one instruction, students build strong technique, musicianship and confidence while exploring the music that inspires them.
Every program is tailored to the student’s experience, goals and individual learning style, from curious beginners discovering music for the first time to advanced artists preparing for the studio, stage or next chapter of their career.
PIANO / KEYBOARD
Beginning as young as age four, our piano students learn through a modern, personalized approach that makes music engaging while building genuine skill. Lessons combine reading, ear training, technique, rhythm, improvisation and repertoire, giving students the freedom to explore classical, pop, Broadway, jazz, film music, songwriting and more. Whether playing for enjoyment or preparing to perform, students develop the musicianship and technical foundation to express themselves with confidence.
GUITAR
From the first chord to the first solo, our acoustic and electric guitar lessons help students become confident, creative and versatile players. Lessons can include chords, rhythm, lead technique, fretboard knowledge, music theory, improvisation and song study, all shaped around the music each student wants to play. Rock, pop, blues, jazz, acoustic or something entirely your own, we build the skills that allow every guitarist to move beyond simply learning songs and begin developing a sound of their own.
DRUMS
Drummers do more than keep time. They shape the energy, movement and feel of the music. Our drum lessons develop timing, coordination, independence, technique, dynamics and musical awareness across styles including rock, pop, hip-hop, funk and jazz. From foundational rhythms to advanced grooves and performance preparation, students learn how to listen, respond and confidently lead the music from behind the kit.
VOICE / VOCALS
Every voice is different. Our job is to help students understand theirs, strengthen it and use it with confidence. Lessons combine healthy vocal technique, breath support, range development, tone, diction, musicianship and performance skills. Each program is built around the student’s voice, goals and preferred style. Whether singing for the first time, preparing for an audition or developing as a recording artist, students gain the tools to perform with greater freedom, control and confidence.
BASS GUITAR
Bass sits at the center of every great band, connecting rhythm, harmony and feel. Our bass lessons develop technique, timing, fretboard knowledge, music theory, ear training and the confidence to lock in with other musicians. Students explore the lines, grooves and styles that inspire them. Whether picking up the bass for the first time or preparing for the stage and studio, students learn how to support the song, shape the groove and become the player every band needs.
VIOLIN & STRINGS
Our violin and strings lessons combine strong classical foundations with a modern, personalized approach.
Students develop posture, bow control, intonation, reading, ear training, phrasing and ensemble skills while exploring music that keeps them engaged, from classical repertoire and Broadway to pop, film music and contemporary arrangements. We help every student develop beautiful tone, confident technique and the freedom to communicate through their instrument.
